John O'Sullivan

Mr. O’Sullivan is a 20 year resident of the Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.  He has a long history of public service.  He is a member of the Civilian Emergency Response Team (CERT).  He was Vice Chairman of the South Brunswick Environmental Commission.  He also served on several special committees including the police department’s first Civilian Inspection Team, and Citizens’ Taskforce/South Brunswick-Jamesburg Shared Services.  He attended the police department’s Civilian’s Police Academy.  Mr. O’Sullivan received the Community Oriented Policing & Problem Solving (COPPS) award for his service to the South Brunswick Police Department and the South Brunswick Community.

Prior to moving to South Brunswick, Mr. O’Sullivan was a member of the Woodbridge Planning Board.  He also served on the NJ Transit Corporation Advisory Committee.

Mr. O’Sullivan is a veteran of the US Army and the NJ National Guard.  He is a member of the American Legion.  He holds a BA in political science.
