Middlesex County Republican
Convention |
|
Letter to the Editor of the
South Brunswick Post
March 12, 2007
This is by way of an invitation for Republican and
independents in South Brunswick to come to the Count Republican
convention to be held March 31, at the Victorian Manor in Edison.
Registration begins at 9:00 am and the Convention starts at 10:00
am.
This year's convention will feature the selection of candidates for
the Jun Primary. Included in that group are our incumbents
Sen. Peter Inverso and Assemblyman Bill Baroni. Both men have
served South Brunswick well with integrity and service to our
residents.
Completing the trio of State candidates for the 14th district is
Adam Bushman from Jamesburg, former Councilman, former candidate for
Freeholder and veteran is an experienced and active figure in the
district.
Also running for office is our own Lynda Woods Cleary. Former
candidate for Mayor, Ms. Cleary is a candidate for the County post
of Surrogate. As a financial planner Ms. Woods Cleary brings
requisite familiarity with estate planning to an office that serves
the community by dealing with matters of wills and probate.
A unique feature of this year's convention is a Presidential straw
poll offering a voice early on to reflect on all the Republican
candidates. It's your first chance perhaps to be in a poll for
the Presidential race.
Finally, the convention, in the third most populous county for
Republicans in the State, gives all a chance to voice their opinion
on an alternative party in power. An alternative to the most
highly taxed State in the Country and what may also be the State
most troubled by corruption.
